I really enjoyed this book. It is very sad when you realize how badly damaged the quake and fire did to the city not to mention the 140,000 plus people that died. It is even sadder when you think that had it not occurred Japan may have not become a right wing military power and that whole situation in Asia and WII may have been avoided. This book really makes you think about the whims of nature and man.
