"City of fear", 1959, stars Vince Edwards who went on in 1961 to TV fame as Dr Ben Casey. Here Vince is a convict who kills people without thought. He thinks he has a canister of heroin but it's Cobalt-60, a radioactive isotope that kills people who come into contact with it. The 1950s and early 1960s loved to accent radioactivity wiping out the world. The film is cheaply made but that's okay. Just seeing all the old cars is worth watching it. Los Angeles is said to have only 3 million inhabitants in 1959. 81 minutes of campy film is better than most of the junk put out today.
