"Individuals accustomed to personal poverty think and act differently from people in the middle and upper economic classes." Of course, just like year after year we hear of those "shocking" mass cheating scandals at Harvard, or Yale, or Princeton, or MIT, etc. (and yes, private equity leveraged buyout king, Peter G. Peterson, according to his own biography, was expelled from MIT for cheating, Peterson claims it was "minor" cheating, but in actuality it was massive cheating). The crucial differences in thinking is that a vast number of those at the top are pathologically dishonest, sociopathic in nature, anti-progressive greedheads with a sick need for power and control - - classic domination/submission structures, etc. The thrust of this book is that "we are all responsible for our poverty" -- not that the greatest real "entitlement program" of all time - - the reason all wars were and are fought - - is the control of the money supply, the "divine right" to create money. A rigged game which defines us all, until we understand it. This most unfortunate pablum of a book receives the worst rating possible!
