The novel "Salem Falls" served to reaffirm a few things(in my opinion): 1. A lie can destroy an innocent person's life forever. 2. Justice isn't always blind, sometimes she's downright prejudicial. 3. For about every conviction of guilt, there are also false convictions. 4. Things aren't always what they seem.
