As a romance, I didn't enjoy this story. At nearly every encounter, the H/h argue to the point of retreat. I couldn't find a single reason for them to be attracted to each other. At least for Colby, anyway. He was a great character with believable depth and a wonderful outlook on society. Meg, on the other hand, was hard to like. Her feminist outlook was so extreme that she instigated arguments and debates with nearly everyone she encountered, even strangers. I like strong characters, but sometimes strength comes in restraint. I've highly enjoyed two of this author's previous books with a much higher rating than the reader average, but I have to agree with the majority rating on this one.
