As one can expect from Clive Custler novels, Ghost ships is a thrilling adventure with curious twists. The start of the novel begins a century earlier than the main story, even the first chapter happens thirty or so years before the plot of the book begins to expand. Clive and Graham Brown incorporate the various snippets into the story beautifully. While admittedly, there were some parts of the plot that were easy to predict while other parts seem downright ridiculous to assume that it could possibly happen, it was still a good show. Ghost Ship is an ideal novel if you want a thrilling adventure with the expected outcome that the good guys win in the end. Listening to the audiobook of the story, Scott Brink does an excellent job narrating the tale of Austin Kurt in Ghost Ships. It was clear to understand dialogue between individuals and the smoothness of his voice showcased the calmness on how the situation was handled by the various narrators. It was a good book to listen to everything considered. While the plot was painfully simple at times, it still provided lasting entertainment.
