This book is read by the author, it would have been weird if anyone else had read it. I have been a Who fan and a Pete Towshend fan for ages! So I'm probably a little biased. The 1st half of the book I was so enthralled with his story and I kept say "Oh Pete you make me love you even more". Then the last half, things get a bit more real (maybe not the polish of years gone by). Then Pete was human with all the flaws and troubles just like everyone else. I think the thing that surprised me was the immaturity of when he would fall in love, his reaction was very much like a Middle Schooler, thats when I would say "Oh Pete grow up", but when you read the whole book you know why he has that tendency. It has a lot of humor and if you're a Who fan you MUST read this. I gained immense respect for the other members of the Who, especially Roger Daltry, which clearly showed the respect Pete had for his band mates. The only thing that could have made this better would have been the songs that were mentioned being played. Since I'm a fan it was easy to do on my own.
