This romance movie is also a musical, about a young Greek girl named Sophie who is getting ready to be married. Her mother, Donna, is very independent and raised Sophie all on her own. To her surprise, her daughter invited the three men that could possibly be her father, without letting Donna know. This movie is full of drama, comedy, and dance which keeps things light-hearted and upbeat. The ABBA soundtrack will definitely stay in your head forever, and the movie will inspire you to go to Greece. Since this movie is so dear to me and my childhood, I would rate this film 4/5 stars. - @The_Reviewer of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board Mamma Mia! is a musical rom-com movie led by an ensemble cast full of very well known actors and actresses that tells the story of Donna (Meryl Streep), a single mother whose daughter, Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) is getting married. Leading up to Sophie’s big day, she finds her mom’s diary and decides to secretly invite her three possible dads to her wedding. This easy-watching and uplifting comedy also pays tribute to the 70s and 80s Swedish pop group, ABBA. Filled with beautiful sceneries from a small Greek island of Skopelos where it was filmed and the cast’s fairly impressive attempt on performing ABBA’s hits, this movie definitely cheers people up and makes us all want to dance. 4.5/5  - @jackbittle of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library Mamma Mia! is such an amazing and hilarious movie featuring fantastic and renowned actors like Meryl Streep and Amanda Seyfried. Sophie (Seyfried) has a great life and she’s about to get married, except there’s still only one thing missing — her father. She reads her mom’s journal only to realize that there are three different men who could possibly be her father. Of course, she invites all of them to come to her wedding so she can figure out which one her real father is. You can guess that this decision results in quite a bit of chaos and funny moments! Not to mention, this movie has an amazing soundtrack featuring hit songs from the band ABBA that you’ll be singing and dancing along to with the cast. This is simply a classic must watch film. Rating 4/5. - @reginaphalange of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library
