Joe Moser: a fighter pilot in Buchenwald. A presentation that was given by Joe Moser and Gerald R. Baron. Joe Moser, a native of Ferndale, was a fighter pilot during WWII, who was shot down over France, captured and put in the Buchenwald work camp. Gerald R. Baron wrote a book on Moser's experiences. On this DVD Gerald R. Baron narrates a slide show that parallels his book. And then Joe Moser talks about flying a P-38, his war experiences and answers questions.
History of Nooksack places. A presentation on the names that the Nooksack indians gave to places in Whatcom County. Allan Richardson, an Anthropology instructor and researcher of Nooksack Indian culture, narrates a slide show of the village sites and landmarks that once had Nooksack names. While George Adams, language specialist and the only remaining fluent speaker of the Nooksack language gives the pronunciation of the Nooksack words. Animated maps were added to the DVD to illustrate locations.
