No, Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS) is not some kind of psychosomatic hypochondria. Caused perhaps by toxic contamination in the body, the sufferers react to environmental toxicity from chemicals dispersed in the environment. Though similar to allergies, MCS not diagnosable like allergies. It's a very serious health problem product of the increasing use of industrial and home chemicals all over us. This is a eye opener video where many sufferers and research scientists explain the truth of MCS! Please watch it.

I learned some things I didn't know, but much of the book felt like emotional generalizations, so I am not sure I could believe all the "facts" given.
