This movie isn't worth watching.
Bad acting, bad storyline just plain
boring. I'm looking at it as a whole.
If your someone who likes fighting just watch UFC it's the real thing.

Fair – Fighting (2009) 105 min. While watching Fighting, I couldn’t help to think of a similar movie that came out in 2008 called “Never Back Down”. Both look at an underdog making a splash in the street fighting world. What makes this one more appealing is the acting of Terrence Howard, who plays the lead’s “fight manager”. He brings about a certain empathy for the character. Unfortunately, Fighting is marred with an inconsistent and choppy script leaving the viewer uncertain about the motivation of each character and why Shanning Tatum’s character, the fighter, has any hopes of winning his next fight (he wins by luck but yet, Terrence Howard invests in this guy?!?). The film in the end is relegated to forgettable popcorn entertainment. Note - I couldn't help but compare Tatum Channing to a young Gary Cooper.

I liked, both the posed - and unintended realism in this movie. More about that soon... and about the steady, calm, effortless excellence of oft-unheralded professional Terrence Howard - and the charismatic delivery of sultry, up-and-coming young movie buck, Channing Tatum.
