I always liked George Burns. Good story line for this movie, but this movie was just too slow. Too many dead spots and not enough dialog. I am one that usually thinks that the original is the best, and remakes are a poor attempt to recreate the magic, as with Ghostbusters-2016. But, I think the remake (Going In Style–2017) on this one is far better w/ Michael Caine, Alan Arkin, Morgan Freeman, Ann-Margret, and Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future). LOTS of dialog and action.

George Burns has always been a favorite of mine as has Art Carney. I remember watching this one on TV a number of years ago. Three slow-moving old guys cook up a plan to rob a bank in broad daylight. The humor as they plan and execute the deed was typical Burns. There is sadness as well but the part in Las Vegas was hilarious. If you are a fan of George Burns I think you will enjoy this movie.
