Some of what was written in Dancing with Demons is no doubt true, but my opinion is that this book is a sad attempt to profit from only the difficulties in the career of one of finest musical vocalists of our times, as Dusty, who died in 1999, is no longer here to defend herself. It in no way shines a light on the complexities and humanness of this wonderful entertainer, but is, in my opinion, self-serving to the authors of the book.

There are better books written on Dusty Springfield that give a more balanced and nuanced account of this gifted singer's life and times.
