I Kissed Dating Goodbye shocked the publishing world in 1997 with its meteoric rise to the top of bestseller lists. Teens wanted more than dating "rules" -- they wanted an intentional, God-pleasing game plan. In this dynamic sequel, newlyweds Joshua and Shannon Harris deliver an inspiring and practical illustration of how this healthy, joyous alternative to recreational dating -- biblical courtship -- worked for them. Boy Meets Girl helps readers understand how to go about pursuing the possibility of marriage with someone they may be serious about. It's the natural follow-up to the author's blockbuster book on teen dating!

I've grown up in church and have heard the recommendation of "courting" rather than "dating" before, but it seemed like a vague, fuzzy concept that was either too similar to traditional dating to make a difference or too different from it to ever work with real people nowadays. Josh Harris gives an excellent, God-centered, sensible definition of courtship that I was glad to hear and plan too use in my future. Probably my best takeaway from this book is a resolution (as a 16-year-old) not to pursue romance until I'm of an age and maturity level to get married.
