Great documentary. I felt like I was reliving so many books, photographs, and newspaper coverage. You get to meet the people that created some of the most memorable events of the 20th and now 21st century. From "The Grapes of Wrath" to the Vietnamese child burned by napalm to the demise of Nixon's presidency to the shooting of students at Kent state by the national guard to hurricane Katrina. These Pulitzer prize winners have uplifted and and informed the nation. The film made me want to get the complete list of winners to find out what I have missed. Highly Recommend!!! Interesting documentary about something that I knew a little about, but didn't really understand. The background on immigrant Joseph Pulitzer is particularly interesting. The interviews with past winners are a window into a creative person's mind. Most of the winners were astounded to win and then more astounded at the effect the award had on their career. Lots of talking heads, but worth it if this is a subject that appeals to you.
