I enjoyed this movie more than I thought I would. I didn't think it was too slow, but generally that isn't an aspect of movie-watching that tends to bother me. I actually enjoyed the technique of switching the story from past to present. It made the movie more interesting in its non-linear manner, and helped to avoid relying on telling the "love story" portion of the movie in a clichéd way.

A bit of a slow movie.

My wife and I finished our circumnavigation last February after 10 years at sea. While the jumping back and forth got a bit bothersome, having been out at sea during bad storms, it’s quite close to what we experienced but luckily never were out during a hurricane though were out in 50 knot winds off South Africa. Brought back many memories.

Very disappointing. Too many flashbacks. Where were all the fish? How can there be no fish they were on the ocean?

I was disappointed with this film. I found the flashbacks frustrating, and was only able to watch it for the first 40 minutes before fast forwarding to find out how it ended.

Very average movie. I did not like how it went back and forth between flashbacks and present day. It also felt kind of long, and I did not like the ending - it felt like the movie tried to "manipulate" me once I really understood what happened

I liked this movie, I've found movies about people stuck at sea can be quite boring, but they managed to sidestep that by jumping back to moments in their relationship leading up to the storm. Also the storm and crash was really well done. I'd recommend!

I enjoyed this movie about a couple sailing across the pacific who run into a bad storm and end up adrift.

Not a bad adventure story based on a real-life event. However, the jumping back-and-forth between present and past is too frequent and unnecessary, ruining the otherwise good flow of the narration.

Woman vs nature - a very young woman is pitted against the ocean for 41 days. This is her amazing true story.
