Award-winning journalist Catherine Price presents a practical, hands-on plan to break up -- and then make up -- with your phone. The goal? A long-term relationship that actually feels good. You'll discover how phones and apps are designed to be addictive and how the time we spend on them damages our abilities to focus, think deeply, and form new memories. You'll then make customized changes to your settings, apps, environment, and mindset that will enable you to take back control of your life -- both on your phone and off.

Really practical, thought provoking and not at all patronising. I have implemented a lot of the suggestions from this book- they are easy!

I skimmed this book thoroughly, yet, unexpectedly, I very much enjoyed it. This isn't to say it's not packed with information; The first section is full of statistics and facets of phone usage, and it is interesting, engaging, and easy to read. The second half is a 30 day challenge, which I also skimmed for themes, tricks, and general advice... Of which there are many! My favorite tricks include the app Moment to track phone usage, and turning my phone to grayscale so it looks more unattractive. Great and actually very helpful little book.
