Another powerful non-fiction picture book by April Pulley Sayre. There is no "point and name syndrome" here (the numerous warblers aren't identified), just the beauty and wonder of these lovely birds. And while environmental issues (like turbines and towers, the need for food sources and safe habitats) are there if you want to explore them, the simple text avoids any heavy-handed messaging that might take away from the inspiring story of migration.
