Alrighty, Mrs. Goodman sure has no problem grabbing and keeping my attention. From the very first chapter, to the very last, I couldn't put this book down for long. Spoilers!
Okay, so many thoughts are running through my head right now! She found her dad, who has the pages of 'A Darkness of Angels' stitched into his feathers. The Order and Darklings have made a truce to fight the shadows with the faeries help and each side has accepted Ava who is actually a phoenix. The changelings were a big part of the book with Rue and Miss Corey (who is actually one). The dancing girls were saved and now their is the 'Fledgling League' which is a group of Blythewood girls and Darkling youths. Raven was found and saved, and loves Ava just like she loves him. There's a cure for Louisa that Pythagoras knows, and with Helen saving Nathan, he was able to fully dispel the shadows that had overcome him. Helen can stand but is waiting to show so Nathan can believe he saved her, and their relationship still seems to be just friends, which makes me think Nathan still likes Ava (and she in her own way also loves him). The new tower that the Order invested in has a giant clock to protect the city of New York from shadows. Ava's grandmother is sticking close by. And everyone is finally aware of the true threat- Judicus and his plans to put the whole world to war.
