When the secret organization headquarters are destroyed and the world is held hostage, their journey leads the agents to the discovery of an allied spy organization in the US called Statesman, dating back to the day they were both founded. That’s just stupid. Not only does it repeatedly violate the laws of physics, if you drive a car into the water, it will short out and stop. And that’s just the first five minutes.

I didn't see the fist film, so I can tell you that you can safely watch this one and won't miss anything. Since the Bond films debuted in the 60s, there have been dozens of imitators, knock-offs, and parodies. But you can't kill the king. "Kingsman," like "The Man From Uncle" film, takes a stylish, tongue in cheek approach to its very Bond-ish story. It's more violent and self-aware than Bond and entertaining in a superficial way. The cast is good and seems to be having fun. And, yes, that's Elton John as. . .Elton John! It can't be a coincidence that Taron Egerton, who is the lead, is now playing John in "Rocketman." I think there's another in the series coming out. Directed by Matthew Vaughn, who did "Kick-Ass" and a couple "X-Men" films.

Worth watching once. The 1st Kingsman was better. JMoore wasn't a believable villian - face too vacantly perky. The robots, Elton John, & main characters (including CFirth) were highlights. CTatum's character was unecessary. Felt like celebrities wanting a cameo with no character need. Rerun test: I'd rather watch 1st Kingsman over again than this one.

About all the Kingsmen films have going for them are action sequences. Weak villain, crap writing, and lame plot.

This movie is what James Bond would look like, if directed by a high school drop out living in a double-wide near Sugar Creek and with an unlimited budget.

I enjoyed the first Kingsman film but this? Not even close. I suggest watching the first film and leave it at that. You will not miss anything by passing on this one.

This is a fun movie to watch, but is quite a departure from the first. There are more violence, explicit scenes, gory details, and stuff along that nature. The first movie was definitely creative and fun. This one, sort of fun and sort of creative, but too much on the blood and gore. I still enjoyed it, but mixed company didn't respond quite as well. The actors were all good, but was a bit wasted with the extremeness that the director tried to pursue. They're better off sticking to clean fun and excitement.

Overall, still not a bad movie, just not great like the first one.

I thought these guys were supposed to be well dressed. So, what's the deal with the red dinner jacket with black lapels? Is this guy going to his high school prom later?

Utterly silly movie, even beyond Monty Python.

Good god, I can't believe how quickly this series tanked. The first movie was original, cheeky, fun, clever... and to my initial surprise - an absolute blast! This movie was ...not. It jumped the shark, and then jumped it again, and again, and again. The movie is garbage. Not to mention, F**k Americans. They don't need to, once they have a hit, involve a bunch of "popular" American actors to pep it up. I love Bridges & Moore, but they were totally unneeded in this movie. The only tiny saving grace is Pedro Pascal - He's fun at just about everything he does. On every other level though - this movie sucks.

Nearly the entire movie script is posted in IMDb but none really good, like this one:

[Eggsy enters Whiskey's Ford Bronco]

Eggsy: Got the passes from my contact. You're gonna love Glastonbury.

Whiskey: Well, that's the easy part, kid. Take a look in the glove box.

[Eggsy opens the glove compartment and grabs a pill box. He opens the box and see a finger-sized condom]

Eggsy: Fucking hell, bruv. Thought everything was supposed to be bigger in America. Is this why you overcompensate with these massive cars?

That's the best s*%t I've had in 3 weeks.
