Upbeat film set in LA that shows a woman rebuilding her life after separation/pending divorce. She's well-off, so there's nothing especially challenging although it's a nice touch for her to suddenly acquire a support system in the form of three young aspiring film-makers, one of whom pursues her romantically (reverse of the traditional May-December duo). Candice Bergen makes a cameo performance and Lake Bell is hilarious as the narcissistic homemaker. If you're looking for a lightweight enjoyable film, this is an easy evening choice.

Entertaining film, worth the time to see. Reese Witherspoon's still got it. I found myself pulling for each of the characters throughout the entire experience. Fun storyline with good ending.

An okay movie. It had a decent storyline with good actors but it's not a movie which I would watch again.

This is a great movie when you're in the mood for something light and fun. I feel like the other comments are making it sound horribly but it isn't! If you're a true fan of Nancy Myers (Something's Gotta Give, It's Complicated, The Holiday), you'll love love love it. This is exactly what you need when you feel like curling up and being cozy. The characters are lovable, the music sets the tone, and the vibe is just great. Is the story line perfect? No. Is the character development excellent? No. But is this worth it? Yes! Just don't go into it expecting a Reese Witherspoon as June Carter level of movie role.

I love Reese so I stayed until the end, which was so disappointing since it did not reveal anything about the future of the foolish characters. I should have listened to other reviewers. This is a made for TV movie, simplistic and unrealistic!

Such a good actress but the movie was very disappointing and dull!

A new low for an actress for whom I had higher expectations. Why would Witherspoon take on such a role when she could do anything as such an influential actor?? The tawdry affair she has with the 20 year old immature adolescent really spoiled the whole thing. Why do so many Hollywood films have to revolve around unlikely and bad sexual decisions?

Wow. Worst Reese Witherspoon movie ever. Couldn't go past the first half-hour. Very dull account of a famous director's daughter re-inventing herself by having a romance with a millenial. It's like that show "Younger," only without any of the charm, wit or watchability. Avoid at all costs.

This was an incredibly boring movie. It was the bland acting and the storyline that just bored me to no end. I was 15 minutes away from finishing it before I decided to turn it off, I just had to give up on this film.

I usually enjoy movies that Reese Witherspoon is in but not this one.
