Not such a good movie. The action scenes are not all that great. They are filmed in really claustrophobic closeup; in addition, it's raining in the first big fight scene and there's a lot of water splashing all over the place. This coming from people involved in "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" is truly surprising: you'd think they would have known how to do a good fight scene!!

Don't waste your time on this one.

Based on a Japanese anime feature that was adapted to involve a USA army brat in modern day Japan ...with lots of sword fights.

The anime was much better.

It was O.K for a home TV movie. I was entertained and interesting. But it was NOT worth the long library wait or the price to rent from a Red Box. "I fast forwarded a lot but not all the way.”
