Pretty entertaining thriller. Jeffrey Dean Morgan doesn't get a credit on the cover but he was probably my favorite character in the movie.

Like anything with Anthony Hopkins. This film was entertaining and thought provoking. Enjoyed it!

Brilliantly cast. Good script. Hopkins great as usual.
I highly recommend it to fans of the serial killer/FBI genre. A nice twist of plot in this one.

Watch this for Anthony Hopkins, if for no other reason. What a master! I pretty much enjoyed this film-very different kind of story and I thought it was very engrossing.

Stunning visuals made this paranormal film on the face-off between a killer and a retired FBI consultant enjoyable, both with various psychic abilities as clairvoyance, clairaudience, claircognizance and psychometry. Would be a better film if the roles were switched between Hopkins and Farrell in mho. Also Abbie Cornish was dolled up as a young Sharon Stone look alike with little to do except with a very dark past.

Lots and lots of flashes of sex--hetero and homo--and since there was little to no actual drama in the story, lots and lots of super dramatic music when Hopkins gets his (many) close ups. Plenty of naked women, but not for any dramatic reason or to advance the plot, just nudes. Of the 25 or so "jokes" and "bon mots" I thought two were cute. An absolute waste of Jeffery Dean Morgan and Anthony Hopkins.

Not enough Colin Farrell, too much Abbie Cornish. Poor dialog but good acting from most of the cast.

In the name of friendship, tell me a joke.
-Me? I don't know any jokes. Okay, just one, Um... This woman, Mrs. Jones, uh, was suffering from a rare heart condition. The doctor prescribes male hormones to up her testosterone, 2 pills a day. A month later she goes back to the doctor and says... "That medicine is doing wonders for my heart. But I'm growing hair where it has never grown before. " "Don't worry, excessive hair is to be expected. Where does ii grow exactly?" She says, "On my balls, Doctor. "

(Joe, hooked up to medical tubes and wires in a hospital bed:) Tell me one of your crappy jokes.
-Crappy joke? How about I disconnect you? Would that make you laugh?
===
"Thank God it was so sudden." "At least she felt no pain."

Well, therein lies the truth about tragedies. They bring some people closer together... drives others apart.

You gave up academia for this madhouse?
-They let me carry a gun.
===
I don't hold an ounce of confidence in the paranormal in general. I think it's a sham.
I hope that's okay.
-No problem at all. I feel the same about shrinks. After only one thing, your money. They'll take your whole hand.
Whoever said that has obviously never met a good one,
-It was Sigmund Freud.
===
Is it mystical? Or religious?
-No. I'm a scientist. I believe in theoretical physics and... Biochemistry and that's it. Whatever it is, I happen to get the deluxe edition of what people now call intuition or gut reaction.
