Daniel Craig is a poor excuse for James Bond. Sean Connery simply cannot be replaced by these undersized, sissy Nancy boys./////and the story really stunk.

My husband is the Bond fan - I just watch along. Even he was bored with this one.

I thought this movie was just ok. Skyfall was better imo.

An 'Average', star rated movie: I have seen better, James Bond, films in the past. Again, similar action-packed, rescue or 'save-the-world', flick! :) lol..... which comes with his many toys and gadgets... :) . I rather enjoyed the last Bond film prior to this one much better with that evil villain , Xavier Bardem :) (a very long but more exciting film). Spectre was not exactly boring but not really thrilling either... Anyways, all the best to your viewing on this one... I think Daniel Craig (is it?), needs to retire and put down his weapons for a change. Ho Hum? :) Thx.

Daniel Craig as James Bond, 007, is out to kick some serious ass.

though this might've carried as James Bond, it certainly wasn't Ian Fleming, a cross, rather, between Bond and Indiana Jones with some Stanley Donen, William Wyler, and Stanley Kubrick thrown in, not to mention some Michelangelo Antonioni, including a good deal of his existential tedium - poor cinematography, indifferent acting, and a plot line that was ultimately too long to put up with at a banal and unrelenting 2 hours and 20 minutes

Watched the second time the James Bond movie "Spectre" (2015). This was the fourth and the last time for Daniel Craig to play James Bond 007. I saw the movie in cinema two years ago, and re-watch it at home the blu-ray disc.

Pros: good actions, new weapons, scenes from various countries; Daniel Craig is one of the best bonds.
Cons: main bond girl Léa Hélène Seydoux is not beautiful enough; Monica Bellucci is 52 years old already; Naomie Harris (Miss MoneyPenny) is strictly not a bond girl but Bond's supervisor's secretary. Ernst Stavro Blofeld (Christoph Waltz) hated James Bond so much and he had so many chances to kill Bond, make him blind or lame, but Blofeld wanted to torture Bond without hurting him first. This is a childish plot.
Overall: put down your analytical mind, just enjoy the movie without questioning too many things, then the movie will make you happy!

I guess I'm among the minority here but I loved this Bond film and seeing it soon for the 3rd time. I initially felt Craig's Bond films were good spy stories but he wasn't Bond. I was wrong and now I find it hard to think of him being replaced. Watch this one. The villain you'll recognize as Sherlock's Moriarity :)

Specter was a pretty decent film. The film centered on 007's investigation of Specter, the organization responsible for organizing and mobilizing the villains from the previous films (the wealthy environmentalist, the ex secret agent, the mafia gambler, etc..) The film features Bond (played for the last time by Daniel Craig) investigating and confronting this shadowy organization. The film had many familiar faces return (like M, Moneypenny, Bond) but also had some new faces including Christoph Waltz and Monica Bellucci. Waltz was clearly a good choice as he was an excellent actor. Bellucci was a decent choice as well. Though she was clearly inadequate in terms of acting ability, she was unique in that she was an older woman in a role romantically linked to Bond. Some called this casting "revolutionary" in that it broke the tradition of casting younger actresses and suggested that older woman could be considered powerful, beautiful or valuable in a patriarchal society. However, Bellucci was only on the screen for a very brief amount of time so I think the film lost some opportunities to go in interesting directions (though due to her poor acting, those directions were probably limited from the start.) The film was visually impressive. The picturesque landscapes were impressive as were the special effects. The film boasted the largest planned explosion for a film (Guinness Book of World Records) and also had a unique fighting scene (with Mr.Hinx, an assassin) which was my favorite scene from the entire movie. The women were beautiful as well. However, the movie had writing that seemed trite and uninspired. It felt like the writers played it "safe," relying on gorgeous women ,special effects and beautiful landscapes to deliver an entertaining experience. The writing for the bond franchise appears to be very traditional, failing to evolve and explore new directions (i.e. by exploring Bellucci's character or exploring the homoeroticism in Javier Bardem's character.) This pattern was repeated for Specter. This approach provided an entertaining cinematic experience but prevented a superlative or excellent experience.

Oberhauser: Why did you come?

James Bond: I came here to kill you.

Oberhauser: And I thought you came here to die.

James Bond: Well, it's all a matter of perspective.
