This series highlights five girls experience at camp together. These graphic novels are some of my favorite. They run into mysterious supernatural stuff, bossy cabin leaders, and boy-scout rivals, etc. I highly recommend this series to middle grade readers.

Five friends are determined to have the best summer ever, even though weird supernatural stuff keeps happening at their camp. Good for anybody who has had (or ever wanted) that perfect group of friends.

Not much seems to phase these five girls. From 3-eyed-foxes to werebears to just about anything this camp can throw at them, they work together to face any challenge, as a Lumberjane should. Smart, funny and action packed with true heroines for all ages.

More middle grade than YA - a bit too silly for me to absolutely love it. But by the end of the book, I was into it. Maybe this series is best done by bingeing it in a row? Hmmm...

Very cute! It was a quick read, and I really liked the characters. Not a bad start to a series!

The story is very enjoyable and fun. Teens and YA readers can go through and relate to the characters in some shape or form. Scenes and plot are cooky fun, showing a lot of strange randomness that is comedic and relatable. I was immediately drawn (hehe get it) in by the art style. Any girls from the ages of 12+ should read this.

This zany collection is definitely cute and a fun adventure series for young-ins but personally I found all but one of the characters to be interchangeable. Nobody has any personalities yet. By the 4th issue with the evil boy scouts the writing and drawings seemed to be less random and jumbled and the whole story seemed more coherent. If Vol 2 continues along that vein I'll read it.

The art and characters were great, but the story felt a bit too fast. Probably the story elements introduced here will be explained later, but I felt a little lost as to why the characters were doing anything. Hopefully the setting will be elaborated upon later.

This book was awesome! I saw another girl reading it and I was like, " Cool book, I want to try it too!" Then when I started I was like "Ooooooh, I LOVE the illustrations!!" Honestly, at first I was kinda confused about what was happening, but then later I understood- that's the only reason I didn't give this book the full 5 stars! My fav character is April because, well, she's just so tough and cool and stuff! Ripley is really hilarious! Mal + Molly = :)!

Well I seem to be in the minority on this one. The art was pretty good, but the story was rather lacking for me. They basically keep falling into odd unexplained events and monsters and figure out how to find their way back to safety. The story just felt shallow and left me wanting. Definitely potential for the right audience.
