Cassandra is dragged to her stepfather's boring beach house for the summer. One evening, during a party, she slips away and meets a strange but attractive boy. Lawrence claims to be from 1925 and Cassandra only believes him when they stumble out of their small clearing and disappear from each other. Cassandra starts to fall in love with him but then she discover that Lawrence has a bloody future.
