David McCullough is a superior historian & story teller with the added bonus of reading it himself. He always ferrets out details & not the usual blither most of us heard in school. He's an American treasure in my eyes.

A very thorough look at 1776 and the importance of that year to the Revolutionary cause.

A terrific audiobook for a long road trip. Very engaging, well-written and well-read.
