Publishers Weekly claims: // Surprisingly, there's no discussion of the Portuguese sailors' attitude toward Muslims after centuries of Moorish invasions and war on the Iberian Peninsula. \\
This is a weird comment, as the author repeatedly states the prevailing anti-Islamic sentiment among the rulers? [Due to Moorish occupation.]
Certainly, the lowly sailors' attitudes are typically never historically recorded, so how could the author comment pointedly???? Something peculiar and wrong with the critic of this?!?!
Great historical scholarship involved, so if unfamiliar with Portugal and the history of nautical global exploration, this is the book for you!
