It is a personal account indeed: you are told her every feeling, you go with her on dates.... too much "Let me tell you about me". It does have discussion of the brain, but at simple level (OPL has other good books), and exercises, but of routine types (like repeating I am wonderful to bolster confidence). Fits okay among the many self-help books.

Easy to understand neuroscience? Yes, with Wendy Suzuki. She gives easy tasks to get brain working at it's max. She also helped me to understand why. The synopsis at the end of the chapters are great. Highly recommend.
