This will be a fun book of ideas for advanced sewing folks who can look at a picture and figure out their own way of making a project. The instructions are brief, illustrated only in black-and-white sketches, and separated from the full-color photos of the finished items. This approach works fine for the quilts but might be challenging to beginners on other projects like the bags and wallets. That said, there are beautiful, practical items featured here that would make excellent gifts -- either to friends or to yourself! FYI: one of the books is missing it's patterns , double check your copy you borrow . some of the projects can be done without the pattern sheet like the wallet, but most require you have the patterns .
