Each year,In the imaginary land of Quill, children of 13 are split off into groups of "wanted", "necessaries" and "unwanted". The unwanted are taken away to meet the Eliminators and are condemned to death. But then they meet a wonderful magician, called "Mr. Today" in the magical land of Artime. Main character Alex fights his connection with his "wanted" twin in Quill. Will this tie to his brother be the downfall of Artime? A very entertaining fantasy that is suitable for kids from 8 and up. There is a sequel to this book as well.

This was definitely a fun read. I didn;t think it was particularly ground breaking but some of the magic concepts were fun and unique and I generally like the main characters. The audio book narrartor does an excellent job.
