A lot of very good recipes BUT the proofreading had problems. For example there are recipes like "mushroom chicken casserole" with no mushrooms in the ingredient list but "add mushrooms" in the instructions. I ran across quite a few like that, so read your recipe carefully before you start. That being said, I cooked five recipes from the book and they were all very good.

No recipes in it that I actually want to try.

I know the author because I saw her doing a cooking show with Julia Child (they were making danish pastries) over the internet several months ago, which is what attracted me to the book.

As with most recipe books, there are a LOT of recipes here that will never grace my plate, and wadding through 500 to find the 30 or so that I would be tempted to make is a labour of love for a mad keen cook such as myself, but could be a drag for other people.
