I second Alex' review. Completely worthless even for kids.... and Simon Monk is the man when it comes to Arduino, RPi and learning electronics and programming.
Also suggest everyone have a copy of latest version of :
Make - Make Getting Started With Arduino: the Open Source Electronics Prototyping Platform By Banzi, Massimo
Other with fun projects and a lot of related info on electronics and getting started include :
Practical Arduino Cool Projects for Open Source Hardware By Oxer, Jonathan
Arduino Workshop A Hands-on Introduction With 65 Projects By Boxall, John
Arduino A Technical Reference : A Handbook for Technicians, Engineers, and Makers By Hughes, John M.
And both the "Dummies" books are Arduino are actually pretty good.
What a waste of library resources! Get any book by Simon Monk for infinitely* more useful information on Arduino.
