Friends, this is a seriously gorgeous book! The glowing, dreamy illustrations by John Rowe are a treat for young and older readers alike. The story is more existential in nature, as a child and her mother explore the world around them. The story explains that, with the hard questions children sometimes ask us, it's possible to say "I don't know" while still encouraging those little curious minds to keep asking. This one is probably better for elementary school-aged kiddos, but is still wonderful as a shared read-along.
