Seems obvious that treating bees which are insects with insecticides is a bad idea. Conrad addresses the dilemma which every beekeeper whether with new or established apiaries faces. How to keep colonies healthy and by extension the bee products we consume. He offers alternatives to chemical and medicinal treatments without being judgmental. This book is long overdue and not in the library sense.

This is a good book for just about every beekeeper out there, not just bee-ginners.

He gives folks a bit of a different way to approach beekeeping.

A good book to own.
