Donut shop owner Suzanne Hart sees customers come and go all day long. But when one of them up-and-disappears the police start asking questions. It seems Suzanne is the last person to have seen Emily Hargraves. She has to admit that Emily's last request was a little odd - a blueberry donut with chocolate icing sprinkles stars and a sour gummy worm coiled on top. Odder still: Suzanne's ex-husband also appears to be missing.

This is a light read but very well done. The subplots are very interesting. It is a welcomed change of pace after doing research for large periods of time.

I like reading cozy mystery series. This series so far (read three so far and not in order) is okay to pass the time. I hope Max the ex husband will be gone soon. This story was like a soap opera - hard to put down.

I think I am getting tired of this author. In this book, it is discovered that the murder victim had 3 girlfriends simultaneously and that 2 of them weren't aware of the others. The main character, Suzanne, encourages the women to think that this is no big deal, that they shouldn't have assumed that they were in exclusive relationships with the guy. I disagree with this line of thinking!

A light read, but enjoyable.
